Default strut tower tie

this could be a dumb question, but i was wondering, seeing basically what strut tower bars do(tie struts together), has anyone tried a sort of diy one? i dunno if it would make any difference but to like tie them with a strap with a ratchet and make it really tight? just wondering, gimme opinions

the tie bar takes alot of stress because it reduces the body flex of a 3000lb car. you'd need a solid piece of steel to do this. i've never seen a diy one because Neuspeed bars can easily be found for $100 and it's not worth crafting one

yeah, i got mine brand new for around $80 i think.

Don't do it yourself...you might have the looks, but it won't have the go. It'll just sit there and won't do anything. Just like DC Sports strut bars (they bend under human weight...)

just get the neuspeed one...you'll notice a big difference (i did...with my then stock car)

DC Sports won't resist the flexing as much since there are holes. the neuspeed is better since it's solid
