Default Injen intakes...will it pass inspection?

My parents are gonna buy my an injen short air intake for my birthday (tomorrow) but they will only get it if they know for sure it will pass inspection in NC. Are they carb exempt or whatever like AEM? I don't want to take it out and put it back in just to pass inspection.

the only 2 carb exempt intakes that i know of is Iceman and AEM brands. i just installed an Injen on an RSX over the summer and there was no exempt sticker on it anywhere.

shoot ... i remember reading it somewhere, but here's a link to the Focus Iceman Intake. it says there's a carb sticker on it, so ... i'm assuming that it's certified.

the one from ebay says it's CARB exempt as well. it goes by the brand CP air. they even show a sticker with a CARB number, and i've asked the seller to be sure. i think i'm gonna get that one.

According to Injen's website, it says alot of their intakes are carb approved while others are waiting to be approved. Does any here use an short air injen intake for a 94-97 accord? Did it come with a carb sticker?

Got a question about installation....I know you have to remove all that vacuum crap but what about the electrical stuff going to the vacuum stuff? Will disconnecting these screw up my ECU or something?

honestly your intake wont cause you to fail inspection unless they have some really strick rules where you are.
