Default how to get bottom ball joint nut tight

shit keeps spinning Ive replace my axles and spindles and all that shit before but this time i cant get it to tighten up w/o air gun

The ball-joint bolt is spinning right? If it is, clean up the threads real good and try a different/new nut, also press the balljoint into the lca as hard as you can ( I put a bottle jack under the lca and jacked up on it and then leaned on the hub)

well the nut is 3/4 on there and wont come or go any further just spins ill try that if that dosent work ill use my air tools

That means the balljoint is on its way out. You should have replaced that too while you were in there.

Nah, dosent mean its on its way out... it will spin when its brand new, its just a matter of getting the tapered part of the stud seated into the control arm... like the other guy said, stick a small jack under the arm to put pressure on it, the nut should tighten just fine then.

I tried that I didnt have this problem on the drivers side so Im still stuck I might buy a new compressor today and try my air tools on it
