Default 6th gen: How to take off plastics?

anyone know how to take off the plastics on the interior? AC vent thingies, the panel that covers the steering wheel base, front deck panel, etc.?


edit: the console parts

besides, i already bought the materials! cost me $16.75 just for the primer, paint and clear coat! but theyre all duplicolor so yeah

if youve ever applied any protectant (armor all, etc) to the surface... the paint will peel. make sure you strip/clean the surfaces rigorusly.

ive never takin the dash apart.... hopefully someone else has and posts here

Captain Obvious says: Look for screws.

I can give you a tip regarding the left vent. You'll need to remove the change tray (just pulls out) to reveal the two screws holding the vent aseembly in place. Unfortunately I can't give you much guidance on popping the vent out from the assembly, but it's a start.

try the flat end of a hammer or a jackhammer thats what i used

k, i got the top two vents, the ones that dont have any dials to it. they just pop right off. i tried doing the right bottom vent... no look, but i did manage to dint it!! i used a flat head and tried to pry it from all sides. no luck

try opening the fuse panel on the right... and look through there
