Default Tires

Anyone recommend the cheapest(known brand) place/website to buy 17" tires for my accord?

I had Kuhmo Ecsta Supra's 215/45/17 before and worked really good, but it's definitely time to get a new set.

--Edit-- Just re-read the post. Tirerack.com seems to have the best prices and best designed website.

I just put new tires on my car, and did a lot of research. it seems (at least for me) that the Bridgestone Potenza 009s are the best tires, for me anyway. From what I've read the two most common complaints about them are that they're noisy (and they are) and that they don't grip well, but from what I've read it's mainly people with sports cars complaining about that.

Supposedly though, they rate very well in dry, wet, and snow. I can't vouch for the snow (yet), but I've found myself braking hard in both the rain and dry and they stick very well. They also hold remarkably well under hard acceleration and cornering.

Yeah, tirerack rocks the party when it comes to tire reviews and research. I've never bought 17' tires so I don't know what would work best. My wife's altima has those Kuhmo Ecsta's, they are great tires for the buck. Just get another pair of those if they worked for ya.

Oh yeah the Kuhmo's that i have are directional tires, it's a hassle not being able to rotate them normally.

Another question that i have is would you recommend directional tires?
