Default tranny fluid

where do i drain the tranny fluid on my mom's 01 accord? where are the bolts located? thanks a lot

How many miles could a 01' Accord have to warrant a transmission fluid change? You shouldn't do that until way later. I did mine at 20K miles just to see how it's done, it was still red and didn't need to be changed.

I haven't looked at my manual, but I don't think it says to change it at 12K miles. Correct me if I'm wrong. Under normal circumstances you should change it every 30K miles.

tranny fluid is just as important as changing your oil. you do need to do this every 12,000K. also, honda brand atf is a must. ($3 a quart at the dealer) on the 6th gens, you'll drain and fill 3 quarts.

tranny fluid doesnt get dirty..there isnt any combustion for it to get dirty....the only way it gets dirty is if water gets in ti.

MTF is motor oil...10w30...what like a dollar and change
