How do u know if your shocks are blown?
I have a weird sensation coming from the front of the car and I can feel it slightly in the steering wheel. It's like a 'kong-kong' sound very lightly.
When I passed a friend while driving he said he heard a little sound coming from the right hand side.
Just noticed it today.
I only lowered my car with H&R Sport springs (1.5/1.25) and I did it the second day I got the car so I have had them on for around 7000 km (4500-5000 miles or so I think). They shouldn't have blown yet right?
My car doesn't even look like it's really lowered so I don't know what's wrong....*sigh*
Is it an alignment problem?
Argh.....

umm more like if you push your car down, and it bounces up/down/up/down etc. theyre blown. theyre "shock absorbers" and theyre supposed to slow the verticle motion of the car

i had my shocks COMPLETELY BLOWN, leaking like crazy, and my tires had the metal coming out even =) and let me say, if u have blown shocks, u should kno, or can tell. my car blew in like 3 months, being lowered 4 inches, with OEM shocks. and my car was bouncing and it felt like my car was about to come off its wheel ... not a very good feeling. even tho my ride was bouncy even from the beginning, i could tell when they were blown. i dont kno, if its so much of a sound, only thing i could tell was when i hit the bumps, perhaps they got louder. one question guys, when my shocks were blown tho, and my mechanic took it out, when i pushed the ACTUAL shock, its rebound speed was very slow. i pushed down on it, and it came back up like a snail. not to mention, it was very dirty. while the one that was new, rebounded fairly faster. ???
haha...thanks for the info guys, but i found the problem.
Turns out a HUGE nail was in my front tire.
I mean HUGEEEEEEEEEE. It was one of those heavy duty ones like almost an inch in width! It was all chipped up because I had it in my tire for a night or two which involved a lot of time in VTEC.
Well, since i lost a tire I think this is the perfect excuse to use to pick up the new rims even though winter is coming.
