I just bought a 1995 accord that was crashed for parts for my current car. The impact of the crash was on the driver side. Long story short, we tried to start the engine and it wouldn't start. After trying about 4 to 5 times we gave up and started to pull the engine. After we dropped the engine, we unscrewed the cover to the cam gear and belt to see if that was the cause of it not starting and we saw that the cam gear was broken from the impact of the accident. I just want to know if we get another cam gear will the engine start or what. I really want this engine to work because it only has 91,000 miles and the engine in my car has a bent valve. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
