when was the last time you gave it a tuneup? try new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, distributor rotor and a good air filter. if your engine is misfiring it will stall at idle rpm's.

brand new spark plugs, brand new spark plug calbes, brand new distributor, and got a cold air intake system, and its not misfiring, it starts and idles just fine,

i figured out today, when i touch the brake, thats when it stalls and then dies

Almost sounds like the brake booster might be toast.

Disconnect the vacuum line leading from the brake booster at the throttle body (or carb. if so equiped) and suck on it. It should hold perfect vacuum.

a bad brake booster doesn't cause the car to stall.

could be a vaccum leak, incorrect ignition timming, bad ground wire, clogged fuel filter, bad gas, incorrect gap on the spark plugs, ect.

you could also try this:

that may help your up and down idle. later.
