im about to buy new bushings for my 97 accord. the stock ones have worn over time plus my hard ass suspension (tokico illuminas) i cant figure out the diff between the red and black bushings from energy suspension. they say that the black ones are impregnated with grafite to lubricate but are otherwise the same...they seem to be just a better version of the red ones. does anyone have experience/recommend either one over the other?

oh and a garage would charge me a few hundred from what ive heard right?

 

black ones last longer because of the self-lubrication and yea, tearing apart the whole suspension is necessary so i wouldnt be suprised if it was a couple hundred.

 

ok here's another question: the master bushing set includes

"-Front Control Arm Bushings

- Front Strut Rod Bushings

- Front Shock Mount Bushings

- Front Coil Spring Isolators

- Front Sway Bar End Links

- Ball Joint Boots

- Tie-rod end boots"

what about the rear suspension on the car? i mean rear control arms and rear strut bushings?

odd, my master kit came with the rear ones as well
