weird electrical issue on '94 Accord
Yesterday I discovered that even with the keys out of my '94 Accord's ignition, you could still open and close the sunroof and roll the windows up and down. I tried it again today and it wouldn't work. Does this happen very often? I didn't even think you could do that....
On the ignition (where your key goes), there are three positions... I, II, and III. I, turns on the car's ACC. III is to start the car and II is keeps the car running (on position). I believe I read in the user's manual when I bought my '94 (new), that after you turn off your car, I believe it's 30 secs or so, you could operate the windows and sunroof until you open a door; once a door is open or the timer runs out, all power is lost until you turn your key to the II postion again. Is this what you are talking about?

It's a very nice feature if you ask me. I have the halos in my headlights wired to that so they stay on till the doors open. Some people wire the red wire of their decks to it too so you can have the GM like feature.
