Default Duct tape exhaust

So I have a new exhaust on the way....but it's not going to be here until next week(I hope). My current one had two little holes on the back of the resonator...but today it must have cracked because it now sounds like the worst civic exhaust you've ever heard.

I am going to Jersey this weekend...so I'm wondering if it is remotely safe to duct tape...or electrical tape the sh!t out of the problem area. Probably be about 160 miles total this weekend....will it melt or catch on fire??

Feel free to laugh but I'm kind of in a tough spot here...any suggestions?

Probably not a good idea to use duct or electrical tape, but you can get aluminium exhaust repair tape at an auto parts store.

you could also get a thin piece of aluminum to wrap around the hole and put a couple hose clamps around it.

JB WELD, find it at A-zone.

It's a putty that hardens, it should fix it for a tad bit.

duct tape might melt. u can use wire from a hard ware store and tie it up to the existing hangers.

duct tape has a fiber cloth weave to it ... it'll catch fire.

it might not catch fire, but the glue will probably break down and it won't stick.
