Default Air Filter or Cabin Filter?

I think you are referring to the cabin filter. If so, there are two inside the passenger side, which require removing the glove box.

Also, follow the glove box removal. Make sure to use something that will not scratch the panels, such as putting cloth over a screwdriver, etc.

One air filter in the engine bay on the passenger side (6th gen).

what gen car do you have? I have 7th gen accord and its a piece of cake to get access to the AC filter. Theres a couple of hinges on the left side of the glove box which when disengaged will let the glove box hinge to the floor. Just tinker with it a little bit. After that the only thing you see is the AC filter. Also, order the filter from H&A accessories. They have genuine OEM filters that cost $20-22. I went to Sears just to get the rate, they said $49.99. Good luck!

Yes, you only need 1 filter. I apologize but I don't have any instructions. What happened was I went to Sears and asked them if I needed an air-filter. He emptied my glove box, disengaged the hinge to the right of the glove box (by pushing it out of the slot). Next, he pressed the left and the right side of the box inward from the top ....out popped the glove box. The sides of the glove box (in the open position) are free from the back side in the first couple of inches. Press it in from there and pull it out. But when he said it would cost me $50, I said I'll come back later. I went home and tried it. All the stuff is plastic so don't worry about breaking anything (because unless you yank the crap out of it, it will hold up just fine). When the hinge and the pin are disengaged, the glove box just swings down all the way instead of holding up like in normal circumstances. So don't forget to empty it out before you do this.

Follow this link and you will see the filter half way down. Its ~$16 right now.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
