Yes, you only need 1 filter. I apologize but I don't have any instructions. What happened was I went to Sears and asked them if I needed an air-filter. He emptied my glove box, disengaged the hinge to the right of the glove box (by pushing it out of the slot). Next, he pressed the left and the right side of the box inward from the top ....out popped the glove box. The sides of the glove box (in the open position) are free from the back side in the first couple of inches. Press it in from there and pull it out. But when he said it would cost me $50, I said I'll come back later. I went home and tried it. All the stuff is plastic so don't worry about breaking anything (because unless you yank the crap out of it, it will hold up just fine). When the hinge and the pin are disengaged, the glove box just swings down all the way instead of holding up like in normal circumstances. So don't forget to empty it out before you do this.
