6th gen four cylinder: differences between LX, SE, and EX
Hello. I'm currently looking at 2002 Accords. Obviously, the LX is always cheaper than an EX. But it seems to me the only difference is the sunroof. The SE has a sunroof as well. Visually I can't see much else different though.
Is there more to it than that?
Besides the sunroof, what are the differences between the LX, EX, and SE trim levels. Also, I'm not really considering the V6, for gas mileage reasons.
Thanks in advance. I would search, but I think the trim level codes are too short to work in a search.

First welcome to the site second the LX has power windows door locks wheelcovers the SE is basically an LX with a sunroof and wheels and the EX adds a 6 disc in dash changer ( 01-02 models) different wheels and rear disc brakes that was the short and sweet version. If I were you I would go for the EX thats my opinion but all in all dont jump on the first car you see be patient and shop around good luck, what part of Maryland are you in Im in Bowie.

Also, thanks everyone. This is exactly what I needed. Looks like I'll be looking at the EX models, as I've grown very accustomed to abs and 4WDisc

Right now I have an 06 Mazda MX-5 that was bought used on impulse. Nice car, but I'm learning fast how limited the roadster is in practicality. I don't care as much for the EX-L as leather doesn't matter, and I plan to change out the radio (killing the steering wheel mounted audio controls). As a bonus, the Accord would be quite a bit cheaper overall.
If/when I pick up an accord, I'll be sure to post here with pics
My '02 EX coupe has side airbags in the cloth seats, and I was surprised when we took delivery of it (new), for I thought that only the leather seats had side airbags. . .
[btw - it's been a trouble-free car since we got it. Only repair ever has been to replace a worn driver's side armrest - under warranty and w/out a hassle by a dealer other than where purchased]
