Default Need a window cable for a 2000 Acord

Help....my cable snapped and now the window is being held up by a pair of vice grips.

Does anyone know where I can get a new cable or a whole new assembly kit....cheap?? come on help out a damsle in distress!! Thanks!

hmm usually cables that thick just dont snap... it might be defective, and i'd take it to a honda dealer and ask them to replace it for free. if that doesnt work, you can always try ebay for a used one, and theyre not too hard to replace yourself.

EDIT: and i dont think you can replace just the cable, you probably need a whole new assembly

you need the whole windows regulator as they don't snap the plastic holder does and the cable is loose because theres nothing holding it in place.

go to autozone they go for around $100 with "lifetime warranty" you are going to need it
