k, i just went to the local import car shop looking for a muffler tip (which i know nothing about). the dude asks me, "is it v6?".
i say yeah.
so he says "ah, so you need two mufflers, eh?".
"no... i only need one."
"v6 has two mufflers."
"well, iono, go check out my car... i always thought it was vtec....)
"yeah, its 4 cyl."


And to think, i always thought my accord was v6 vtec... it says it on the engine

 

What year is it and whats the liters?

 

how can you not know what engine you have?

 

honestly you probably have the I8 and you need one tip and a new canuder valve with that. With that no doubt you'll run 12's.

 

95-97 V6 accord had one muffler... was a 2.7L NON-VTEC
98-02 V6 Accord had 2 mufflers... was a 3.0L VTEC

4cyl Accords had VTEC in EX models starting in 94, all had single mufflers

 

so what kinda accord is mine? it DOES NOT have dual exhausts, but it says VTEC on the engine
