ok so lets say we get a 6th gen accord with a "good" tranny (my 98 v6 coupe for example) and a 3rd gen teg ls.......stock vs stock...i'd wup it hands down unless i give him a head start

P.S. i would know cuz before my accord i had a 98 gs-r and a 98 ls AT...i know the differences

 

That's just your butt dyno talking ;-) Anyway, I agree that off the line, the Accord would have the advantage.

If the teg did have vtec (engine swap, or different model), then it'd be different. The Accord vtec's goal isn't the same as the teg's vtec. One is for performance, and the other is just to help you get along

 

yea i know....but he wasn't talkin bout engine swaps n stuff he was sayin stock vs stock, even tho the vtec on the accord is geared toward better fuel economy......i'd take the b18c1 any day, i miss my car my 98 gs-r was supercharged o boyyyy did i luv wuppin some ass on the street haha
