Default HELP: Thinking its Transmission problem not sure.

Well guys the problem my car is having it seems like it skips 2nd gear.. Its a 98' Accord i4 V-Tech ( Auto ), So yeah at first when you start the car it doesnt do it then after like 30-40 mins it start rumbling then when u reach a complete stop the car like bumps then w.e you accelerate and it passes 1st gear then when going to 3000 rpms the needle goes past 4000 then 5000 and the engine revs yet the car is going at the same speed.. Please could this be the transmission?
