Default Auto To MAnual Yes i Searched

My Car: 1994 Honda Accord EX Automatic Transmission

My Parts Car: 1994 Honda Accord DX Manual Transmission

Is my parts car sufficent? How hard and how much should it cost me too chnage my auto car to a manual? I am going to do it myself with the help of some friends, so no labor costs.
I think all I will need that the cars don't have is a diferent motor mount.

Swap Engines? Mines Vtec the parts car isn't, but the parts car is way faster..:hsdunno: I think it's because he has a 5spd thats also closer ratio.

And? Swapping the engines will be a whole lot cheaper than an Auto/Manual Conversion

it's because SOHC vtec sucks.

it really doesn't do much and it was just there to give the car a slightly extended torque curve. the end result is a torque curve that is smoother, but not specifiacally that much better.

all in all you aren't doing something that is wise, a manual converion will cost you money in two ways, first to do the conversion, second when you sell the car it will be worth less money. i say sell this car and either buy a manual accord or buy a newer car with more balls than a SOHC I4

Default Sweet, new car.

Another thing, the parts car motor smokes alot and burns oil, mine has been babyed. What s my 94 ex worth? I wouldn't , mind selling it to buy something newer and 5spd. I have blue booked it, i got $3,240 but heres what i got

94 Accord EX Auto 130,000 miles, 4 door Alpine deck, clean with Motegi MR7 17" and brand new General Exclaim UHP tires

I was thinking a Prelude or an Integra

You won't get enough for a decent Integra or Lude

well with that plus the money he was going to use for the parts car i'd assume he'd have enough to purchase something worth buying. even if it is just a g2 teg, it will be quicker and more cost effective than a 5sp conversion
