Default 99 Honda Accord

I have a 99 Honda Accord Coupe (4 cylinder) with 320,000 miles on it. The wheels I have on it are the Concept Neeper Haaz. I have had this car for 7 years. I want a new car (Honda Accord of course), but I am about to be unemployed in a couple of months. Do you guys think that it is worth it to fix up the 99 Honda? I want a new paint job, stereo system, and new wheels! What do you think?

Holy shit, you win

This isn't a question for us, it's a question for yourself. I pondered this a couple of months back and want the same things for my car (stereo, suspension, wheels and paint job) but decided that it wasn't worth it because I'd rather save up for a 330Ci or a new Accord 6-speed.

Anywho, I would hold off any mods considering your employment dilemma. Wait until a job replacement and decide then.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of repairs have been done and what had to be replaced in all of those miles?

I have had the car for seven years and I have had to replace the timing belt 3 times, master cylinder on my clutch once (actually, it was my fault because I didn't have any fluid in the reservoir), and just basic maintenance. This car is like an angel!! When I wash her and wax her, I will post pics. She is awesome though. Doesn't hurt either that one of my friends is a Honda Mechanic at the dealership.

Damn, that's it? I noticed you didn't mention a new clutch. Are you still on the original clutch? That has to be a record.

I've only got 77K on my 99 accord 5 speed, looks like I'll be keeping it for the next 20 years

You ought to keep it and go for 1,000,00 miles like this guy, then you’ll get a new accord for free from Honda.

Once I get it cleaned up, I will take a picture of the outside and I will take a picture of the odometer. It has a clarion TV, an Alpine radio deck, 2 MHT 12's on a Precision Power Amp. I'm proud of it. It has a lot of highway miles. Also, no new clutch. Just replaced the master cylinder on the clutch.

That's great, man. What have you replaced on the suspension? My V6 ate up the front suspension (had to replace all control arms because the ball joints were messed up bad) in about 175k miles.
