Default 02 Accord question

I have a 2002 Black Accord. I bought it last August. I have notice lately that when I come to a complete stop the rpm needle will go down and it feels like it will turn off, but it doesn't. I have only felt it shake one time. I put it on park, I give it gas and the needle will go up, and then back down again. But once I put it on drive, and I drive its fine. After driving it for over an hour its fine. It doesn't do this while I am driving.

Sometimes it will do this and sometimes it will not. My dad and brother has driven it and they haven't notice it.
I also notice that it happends when I am coming home from work.
Doesn anybody have an idea of what it be..?
Thanks

hmm doesn't sound like a problem to me either....when you say the needle drops, do you mean below idle? if it drops below idle then yea your car might shake or "bog" like its about to shut off......check your spark plugs, air filter, and distributor makin sure your connections aren't worn....i would just check all the easy stuff, might be something simple and won't cost you anything

The needle does go below the idle. I will have those 3 things check first to see if thats the problem.

It is scary when this happends and I am on the freeway stuck in traffic.

Just fix it yourself. do a search for seafoam and do that then change the plugs.
