Default Huge Problem...need Help!!!!

Ok guys i have a 94 accord ex 4 door..The problem is that my key wont come out of the switch. Ok...You kno how you have to turn ur key 3 times or so before you actually turn it to start it....well it turns all the way back to the second turn but is stuck there....i tried experimenting and disconnected the battery and the key comes out fine...but when the battery was recconected it was stuck on the same spot...guys i really need help because i have to leave the key in the car overnight and it drains my battery in the morning.

same problem on the 93 accord once. try putting some oil on the key, insert it into the key hole and turn it back and forth a few time; try it a few more time to keep it well lubricated. if it does get stuck, turn the steering wheel back and forth and the key should come off.

This happened in my civic dont know if it will help, I rocked the car back and forth. Hard to explain, I just go to the back bumper push the car forward and let it rock back then push forward again do that 4x 5x then try to remove the key. I think it has something to do with the car not in P all the way when you turned off the car.

do you have an aftermarket knob? if so then thats your problem...i have one my 98 accord v6 and if its skrewed on too tight it'll compress and the car thinks your pressin down on the knob so the key won't come out....if you losen it up, key pops right out.........IF you don't have an aftermarket knob thennnnnnnnn i dunno check your ignition switch
