Hey, I think my temperature gauge is stuck. Will smacking the panel fix it or is there any solution besides removing the whole darn thing?

 

you could go to the dealer to recalibrate it if its really broke.

 

i replaced the guage when i broke my needle. it's not hard at all. just unscrew and rescrew 3 little botls on the back of it. kinda like installing indiglos

 

had the same prob as you. do one of two things:

1) make sure everything is taped down (I thought everything was, and then realized much later that it wasn't)

2) use a small file and slip it under the base of the needle, then lift up gently just enough so that the base of the needle is separated more from the gauge face.
