Accord Valve timing
Hey everyone, I'm a rookie looking for a little help/advice.
My mechanic friend and I just replaced the timing belt on my 91 Accord EX, and reset the timing.
According to my Hayes book for my car, the valve timing gap or spacing or whatever should be 0.01, which we thought was funny because to do that we had to loosen it up, when the valves sounded already as though they were loose. sure enough when we got everything back together they sound about 3 times worse than they did before..
now the measurements for his acura were 0.006, so I am wondering if anyone knows if that number is wrong or of something else.
thanks a ton.
