Default cv boot replacement

I'm a beginner at DYI'ing my 91 accord and want to know if cv boot replacement is like brain surgery...ha ha.

Not really, but you need some decent tools and a service manual if you don't know what you're doing. You'll have to dismember some suspension components.

I have not done it on Accord. On my Subary it has been done 3 times. This is kind of a serious job. but it is doable. Make sure your get Haynes or similar book.

Personally I would not replace the boot. I would get a new (remanufactured, guaranteed) axle. This is much less labor intensive as you don't have to disassemble the axle, you just take out the old one and pop in the new one. $65-80 for a reman axle after you give them your old one.
