Very expensive, and on an accord (i love my car too) its not worth it at all. I mean, it would be one thing if you gained some kinda hp. But to do it just to do it is a waste of money, you should just buy a new engine. It would be cheaper in labor

whats your definition of very expensive?

i did it about 2-3 yrs ago. all parts (except new exedy cerametallic racing clutch) was about $650. took me about 2 full days of labor. not a waste of money for me at all cuz im now boosted. boost on an auto = death.

Like i said, the labor would be more then the cost of a new engine. $65 an hour x 48 hours = $3100 plus the parts $650 plus shipping, and your past 4 grand without any added horse power.

if you are skilled enough and have the right tools to do the job it's well worth it, if you don't then it's not worth it.

what year is the car? but yeah, at retail, people are right. not worth the money. just sell the accord and buy a prelude instead. many people have done the swap and are happy with it. but it's just not cost-effective. my gf's 94 accord with 160k is a great car, but for $4000 it can be replaced. if you have A LOT into the car already, have it totally customized the way you want, it might be worth swapping an h22 in, but that's still like a $4000 - $6000 endeavor if you have a shop do it. $6000 will get you a 5th gen prelude. it will be a beat-up/salvage title lude, but it's a lude.
