Sniff... Last night my dear 92 accord coupe was vandalized. I had given the car to my mother a few years ago when I got my 2002 accord sedan. Had been great till last night.. The car was broken into. I guess since nothing was in the car except the stock radio and my mothers walking kane they got pissed and took the owners manual and other registration papers and put them on the passenger side floor and light them on fire. Then closed the door. The fire burned long enough to make a real mess and stink. Called the insurance but since it only had liability they could not do anything. Called the homeowners insurance and they said it wasn't covered.. Called some disaster clean-up companies and they said everything had to be replaced. Well I am here to ask everyone for idea's or suggestions on what to do next. The only physical damage is to the carpet which is burned to the metal and the glovebox door. All other damage is smoke.. please any suggestions? ... pazzo

 

Sucks man......don't think its worth reupholstering(sp)....don't know what to say

 

Sucks man. Part it out? What a band of losers... I have a 92 EX coupe myself. I'd be mad if it got gangked like that. Looks exactly like my interior, too.

 

my 92 coupe just got it's headunit stripped, while i was on vacation. they also ransacked the glove compartment (but nothing really important was in there) and threw that all on the floor of the car. my insurance also doesn't cover it. i was really sad and pissed off when i found it, so i think i know how you feel, but, in the end, there's nothing you can really do about it but protect yourself and your cars in the future.

 

Does the car run? I say you get a glove box door if it does run and a carpet from the junkyard.
