I saw on the site the cars won't be coming with the nav system til jan 03. Does anyone know if this can be installed after buying the car? or does it have to be installed during the building process?

 

You can probably add it after...although you are not going to add it into the financing. Maybe they can swing a deal if you get it ahead of time though.

 

You cannot add it at the dealer, it must be ordered with the car.

 

I may be wrong since I have not seen it in person but I thought this was like the BMW, Mercedes Navis that the dealer can install?

From the pics it looks like you can replace the whole radio/HVAC controls as one unit.

 

im not too sure the dealer is just going to sell it to you, for you to install it. Theres a lot of wire running etc.... to get it to work. Why not just order it with the car? I guess your best bet would be to find one at a junk yard and get it out or find a used one on the web and try installing it yourself.

 

It is not an option, it is actually a completely different model, such as LX Side Air Bag. It cannot be dealer installed like the rear DVD system. You must order it on the car, since the dash is different with the navi (screen is larger, buttons are moved around).

 

I would order it with the car, but I hear that they won't be out til January. I need /want the car before then.

Anyone know for sure when the 03 non-navi coupes will be in dealers? I've heard all kinds of stories, from any day now, begining of October, end of October to beginning of January.

 

The 6 spds come out in Feb. Apparently Honda is having a problem producing the Coupes, Perhaps you could figure it out by calling up their HQ.
