Default Computer Chip Honda Accord

I have a 2000 accord vtec 5 speed and im looking for some more speed

i was looking on ebay and i see a lot of chips that cost only about 15 dollars and add as much as 20-40 hp

i dont know if these are a good idea it seems to good to be true but i checked their feedback and all is good.

should i go for the chip, is it easy to install, does it work good?

any help would be appreciated

i hear they are only resistors that change something in your engine's ECU to pump more fuel into the engine. that's not a good thing unless there is more air to compensate.

It dumps more fuel into your cylinders by way tricking the ECU into thinking the Intake Air Temp is in the neighborhood of 35-45 degrees F.
