Default My car is spottering

I don't know if that's the right word but, what the hell.

I have a 5 speed car and the problem is everytime it reaches 2000 to 2500 rpm, my car starts to spotter. My car shakes or rumbles a little bit everytime it happens.

It happens to all the gears from 1 to 5, when i have the gas on steady between 2000 to 2500 rpm.

I thought it just need a tune up, i did a complete tune up spark plugs, wires, caps, rotor and oil change and new K&N air filter but it's still doing the same thing.

It sounds like it's coming from the intake i think, not really sure.

I need help with my car i don't know what the hell is wrong with it.

Anyone had this problem before? If you do please tell me what to do. Hopefully what i'm telling you guys make sense. So please help.

sounds like clogged fuel line or injectors.
I had a similar problem like that. Dealer could find the problem which at the end was bad gasoline.

Fuel filter is supposed to be changed out every 30K. Try that too and then try some different gas next fill up.

Yeah, that's what i meant. Just like you said it's like coughing.Thank's for correcting my spelling.

It's been like that for a few weeks now, just didn't really have the time to work on it, until recently.

And i've been going to Chevron only, but i think i went to some cheap gas before i don't really remember when.

So do you think it's the fuel filter?

Never stay on one brand of gas, always rotate. They all have diff detergents.

This sounds like a clogged EGR port to me. My car did that when mine was clogged.

If it's the EGR, how do you unclog it? Please help me out.

It depends on the car you have. I think mine's in the fuel tank which means I'd have to drop the tank and a bunch of other crap just to replace it. Lotsa money there!
