Accord 2003 Ignition key stucked

Accord 2003 Ignition key stucked

Ignition key is stucked even though auto shift position is parking. I tried to disconnect the battery and could pull out the key from iginition. When I connect battery, it is stucked again. Is there any idea how I can solve this problem?

check that the P "park" light on dash is lit before turning off car if not play with the shifter unit it does then key should come out . as it sounds like the shift position switch.

Did you try to push in the key turn it then pull it out. I dont know if you are new to Hondas but that how you pull out the key you have to push it in then pull out hope this helps you.

make sure the car is in park. turn the car off, try to move the steering wheel back and forth just a little bit then try to remove the key. u may have a bad ignition switch.
