Default 2001 Accord Brake Pad Part Numbers

Hi guys,

I just purchased Brake Pads from CollegeHillsHonda. The front pads' part number matches their catalog. The rear pads' part number doesn't.

Here is what I got.

Fronts 45022-S87-A01
Rears 43022-S84-A50

If I do a search for my 2001 Accord V6 LX on their site, the part number for rear brakes is 43022-SV4-G22 which is different from what I just got.

I did a quick search on google for BOTH part numbers and here is what I got.

It seems the part I got is for a 2003 accord. It also seems the guy who posted the thread also used the 2001 accord's part number 43022-SV4-G22 in his 2003. So, I am assuming like he says in his post that Honda has 2 -3 different part numbers and that the rear disc brake pad kit for 2001 and 2003 are the same.

Please confirm this will work in my 2001 accord. I am a nubie at DIY maintenance and hence I want to know if I'd run into problems.

Thanks

I don't know if this helps you or not, but here is a link to a picture/diagram and part numbers of the rear brakes for your car.
