Finally honda has extended the warranty on the SRS. In the letter, it says that if it's the OPDS unit/sensor, it will be fixed for free! I just dropped my car off today and they better not tell me something else fishy tomorrow. I was surprised when I went in today and the service advisor told me that if the SRS is triggered by something not covered under warranty I need to pay the diagnostics. Well that's NOT what the letter said and I even showed them the letter. The letter said the inpection is free even if it's not the OPDS unit/sensor. Like I said, Im going to pick up my 2000 accord coupe tomorrow and I better not get any @$#!@$# surprises! Does anybody know how honda of america reimburses the dealers for warranty work? what years does this apply for?? my SRS is on but fromt he code saying Pass airbag/connection it probably wouldnt apply for me

im not sure b/c the letter didnt say what year, but you can call honda and give them ur vin and they'll tell u.
