04 Accord p0705 and many other codes.
Hello. New here.
I have a 2004 accord 2.4L auto trans. 170k on the clock.
The issue. Get several codes. All listed below.
P0705 is most current. No other codes at the moment.
previous codes are.
P0344
P0401
P0404
P0406
P0717
P0718
P0705 (current)
Symptoms. At first car started shifting hard into gear. Would slam into 1st. Then slam into 2nd. Would not shift out of second gear. I let the car rest. Drove a little bit and car returned to normal. Then less then a mile from home it happened again.
This morning I removed, cleaned and replaced the speed sensor on the back on the trans. The car ran great. Shifts perfect, but after the test drive the battery light was flashing sporadically and same fore the neutral gear light. Along with a steady green flashing drive light. I cleaned and reinstalled the battery terminals. The battery is a brand new interstate battery. No more then 8 months old.
Last time I drove the car, I had ran the codes throughout the drive and only came back with P0705 code for the trans range sensor. No other codes.
I'm thinking it could be a faulty ground in an associaassociated harness?
Any ideas and or ground locations to inspect? Any and all advice is welcome and will be appreciated. TIA!
Update: Removed transmission range sensor. Inspected/ cleaned thoroughly and reinstalled. Cleared codes. No light atm. 🤞🙏
