Default strange issue with my 91 accord

I've never seen anything like this so it's going to be best explained with a story.

I was at a stop light and attempted to pull away when the car stalled and I looked like a douche bag just learning to drive a stick. I started it back up and drove away but the stereo no longer worked nor would the air turn on and lastly, the brake light stayed on in the dash lights. Then I noticed that every time I clutched the car it would make this loud whining noise.

A few miles later I was slowing down to turn and the car died again. I start it back up and the stereo kicks in and everything is back to normal, no more weird noise from the clutch. I drove it to a friends house later that day just fine but when I started it up to leave it was doing it again. So, yeah I don't think I can just ignore this problem thinking it'll go away. Any ideas? Thanksh:

for the dash lights/radio I'd check fuses, wires, and GROUNDS (they do crazy stuff when not grounded right on a handa). as for the clutch, maybe you just noticed it because your a/c and radio was on and you didn't hear it. either way I have NO idea what that would be, cable style clutch right?? have no idea there

I know it sounds crazy but the noise that was occuring when I press the clutch in was only occuring in conjuntion to those other problems. Maybe some accessory under the hood I dunno, but it would be hard not to hear a noise that loud. It was like fingernails on a chalk board annoying.

check your grounds. there a WAY too many of them on hondas, and if they aren't tight they cause crazy problems.

maybe a bad ignition switch ? thats what I would check like you said the stereo and air shut off, i bet the dash lights went off to . if the stereo goes and air /heater fan shuts off again play with the ignition switch it will most likely come back on or stall the engine.

Now that you mention the ignition switch it reminded me of the issue I had in a drive through a week ago. I killed the car cuz I was tired of waiting in line and wasting gas. I went to start it up and it wouldn't turn over. After a few tries I took the key out and waited for ten seconds and tried again and it started up. Thanks for the ideas...I don't know where to check for grounds but I'll look into that too

Get a service manual...it will tell you where the grounds are. You might want to check out your alternator also.
