Default what to do next??

Hey everyone. I drive a 2003 Accord LX coupe and my friends convinced me to buy some new wheels so I did. Now I don't know what to do next. I'm a complete noob when it comes to cars. Right now, I have 17" wheels with 225/45/17 and I think the car looks a little funny. I was thinking maybe getting some painted side skirts (regular not HFP) or dropping my car. I'd like to do the side skirts first if I could. Is it possible to paint (or get it painted) to look like the one on the EX? The only thing with dropping is that I want something subtle, but will still get rid of that ugly gap above my tire. I don't want to drop it very much because I live in Kansas City and the roads here are S***. Any suggestions? btw, i'm a poor college student so cost is definitely a factor...

Hi Welcome to HAN

-What kind of wheels did you get?
-a lip kit with side skirts may look good, but they wont reduce the 4x4 look created by larger wheels.
-a subtle drop with aftermarket springs and shocks can eliminate some/most of the gap.

Honda brand kits are always the best. I've never seen one that I didn't like over anything else.

Thanks guys. I'll look into it. I dunno tho, i kinda like the look of the car without the kit (NOT that the kit is bad I think it is great). What is the part name/number for the OEM color matched side strake (skirt? i dunno what it is called). My wheels were pretty cheap wheels ADR Sokudo 10. I've got Yokohama Avid H4s on them. I don't know much about tires but these are helluva lot better than the Bridgestone Turanzas that were stock. Here are some pics of it now, during, and before. Sorry bout the pic quality, i took them with my phone. How much would the HFP kit cost cause if it's not too much, then I would love to get that.

A lip kit will make your car look better but a decent drop will make your car look better and perform better.

If you want a nice decent drop with quality ride take a look into tien s-tech. They are not very expensive and give good quality OEM ride and drop. Also change the struts if you are doing your springs to save you the trouble in the future.
