Tire Sizes recommend on 17x8 wheels
I know this is the wrong forum to post but just ignore that and help me out.
Anyways, just bought me a 17x8 wheels and I want to know what's the maximum and minimum width that i can put on these. Means can i use 215/40 for min or 305/35/ for max<<<that's just an example and i know 215 is tooo small and 305 is too big.. Please don't ask what car they suppose to go on.
i'm thinking to use 235/45/17 for the 2 front and 255/45/17 on the two rear. But let me know ya'll suggestions.
Those who have smart mouths please ignore this cause if you're not willing to help, then get the bleeeep out

 305
Do a google search for a tire calculator, try to match stock diameter to keep the speedo accurate. 235 width is about as wide as you can go.
edit: You have FWD. Not RWD. Staggering will make your handling even worse.

. I've asked several tires company for the measurement but I just want to know what people usually run tires on these wheels. Actually i have a 350z now (not an Accord
) i used to have an accord that's why i have this account for Honda-Acura. My stock Z have 225/50/17 front with 17x7.5 and 235/50/17 rear with 17x8. I just bought me after market rims and they are 17x8 all around and i'm planning on running 235/50 for front and 245/50 on rear. I want to keep the same Tread ratio as i want the same confortable ride but with a wider look at the rear. People say i can actually run 275/40 on them but i think that's too wide for me. Thanks for the comments.
naw, not really. There aren't many 350z account users like Honda-Acura. I've asked the same questions and it has been a week now without reply. So i figured i might go back to Honda-acura and ask see what people's opinions on these wheels. Thanks btw
yellowbastard in the basement has a really nice 350Z, try to shoot him a PM.
Changing your tire size is going to throw off your speedo. Either upgrade to 18/19 or try to keep it the same. Nissan engineers fitted the correct size tires to your car to begin with, so changing it will affect handling and ride and not in the positive way. Didn't the track model come with different sized wheels/tires? You might wanna try that combo.
