Default hasatates at accelaration

howdy,new here to the forum and to hondas also,i just bought a 99 accord ex 4cyl with 60,000 miles,it has a slight hasatation when you first accelarate,i changed the plugs dist. cap and rotor and also cleaned the throtelbody and it still does it,can someone help me with what may be the problem?i hate to keep throwing parts at it,any help will be appreciated thanks rick

Clean the EGR ports?

Did you replace the Spark Plug Wires?...if not that could be the problem if they havent been changed in a while

60k is way too soon for wires.

I've heard you say that enough times to figure thats the answer to at least half the questions posted here. Feels good to be right .

:rofl: It's such an amazingly common Honda problem, and since most other cars don't have such finicky EGR ports/valves a lot of people never realize it.
