hello - I have a 99 accord 2.3L. usually starts perfectly. every couple weeks it will have a hard time starting - engine will crank strong but will not start for a few seconds. any idea what this could be?

 

Main Fuel Relay...also check plugs wires ETC....

 

thanks. I don't have a service manual but may have to buy one. do you know of any online sources for repair information that would cover this relay?
I'm now also thinking it could be the cap/rotor? would that make sense? i checked it - it looks decent, not new - I've seen much worse on old chevy 350s that run great, but maybe this engine is a bit more finicky.

 

Buy a manual...Its always good to have one laying around
