Default 1st Using Windsield wiper Q?

bought an '02 cpe EX and used the windshield wiper for the first time today. It seems wierd that the drivers blade stops it's swipe so far from the pillar. maybe 3-4 inches? I don't really think this affects overall visibility, just seems like it stops too soon. The blade does appear about vertical.

Anyone else notice this or should it be tweaked by dlr?

Don't worry it's perfectly normal. As long as it's near vertical you're fine.

The wipers on my 2000 Accord sedan sometimes do the same thing. I don't consider it "fine" when a chunk of my windshield right where I want to see out is not wiped. But oddly, sometimes it works well and wipes right up to the edge of the glass.

You can easily adjust the position of the wiper arms with a wrench. If you want the wiper to move over closer to the edge, just adjust it up slightly, but then when the wipers are off, the blade will sit up a little bit higher on the base of the windshield.

if the blade sits horizontal when off, i'd leave it as is. the second you start messing with the range, it might not lay as nice as it is now.
