Default 99 Accord - Distributor Timing Question.

Hi. I am replacing the distributor on my Accord 2.3L and I seemed to have missed the timing placement. There appears to be two possible positions that the distributor gear locks onto the cam. The Distributor gear has a little timing mark but the Cam doesn't. There does appear to be a Number Zero on the cam though. Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Are you talking about the ignition distributor I'm confused at this talk of gears and a cam. Camshaft? Cam gear?

The Ignition distributor is driven by the Cam shaft.

Huh, so it is. I didn't know that. On mine it's all electronic.

It looks like it just goes into the slot with the mark up.
