accord 96 ex moonroof
You have to take the head liner down... which involves taking all the A, B and C pillar trim pieces off as well as the grab handles. If the moonroof is stuck open in the mean time, it can be closed manually through the round cap in the headliner.
check to see of anything is stuck in the track.
open the cap in the headliner between the dome light and the rear glass
in the trunk with the jack and wrench, there is a silver wrench... use that to manually close the sunroof.
theres a diagram n how to do this in your owners manual.

thanks you for your help Jani. I tried to manually close it, but it still woudn't fully close. at first i thought it was because there was this wax/melted plastic-like stuff on the track, but after taking that off it still was stuck. after that i notice these clips, one on each track. one of them was pushed in while the other was pushed out. so, i pushed the one in and the roof closed like it always did.
interesting how we learn things, huh? =P
