Default Apexi WS louder as it ages?

Has anyone had an Apexi WS exhaust on their 6th gens for like 2 years or more? Everyone recommends the exhaust but I always hear about other exhausts that tend to get louder with age. Has anyone experienced their Apexi WS getting louder as it ages?

its gonna to get louder. Once some of the packing material start to burn up or break down then the exhaust is gonna get louder.

even if it does get a tad louder, its not really a bad thing... my WS was as quiet as my stock exhaust, so if it gets slightly louder it shouldnt matter too much.

well, that's just it. Everyone says it's quiet as stock (or nearly) and I just had mine installed yesterday and IMO it's not as quiet as everyone says. It gets pretty loud at just 2000 RPM's. It even drones a bit when cruising on the highway. That's why I was wondering how much louder it gets with age. I bought it cause I thought it was only going to be loud at WOT.

if you want it to be like stock, just buy the tip for your exhaust and save $400. The apexi ws wouldnt give you any HP, it might just give you the feeling that your car is a little faster IMO. I have one and it's getting louder but I'm used to it, no big deal here

so then what was/is the point of spending 400-500 dollars on the apexi WS2 exhaust? why not just get a muffler tip for 100+/-? i don't understand when people say the apex'i WS2 shows no HP gains, if it doesn't why do people spend so much money on it instead of getting a muffler tip and weld.

the piper diameter....its larger and if im correct the ws2 catback is made of ss which is good to prevent rust....and also the muffler has a larger diameter....if u want quiet than you should just stay stock. oh yea and just getting a tip is gay and rice

Apexi's full exhaust system is mandrel bent, thus making it have better air flow.
that should improve the HP a bit, but it's not what the best part i can get from the market..it's how they all work together.

I own an Apex'i WS2 and its quiet, but definitely louder then stock. Took the 101 to Chumash this past weekend and let me tell you, you start to notice it over a long drive. I could definitely tell the difference when I installed the exhaust, but an even bigger improvement when I added my Injen CAI. You gotta eat before you can poop right... so get both. Next step its headers.
