Default 2003 radio ipod

does anyone know how to remove 2003 accord radio and what i need to connect an ipod.


where can i buy the adapter if there is one?

it depends how you want to listen to your iPod. If you get an FM transmitter, t there's absolutely no work needed. The audio won't be crystal clear, but it's the most cost effective way.

honda/acura offers a cord that connects tot he radio you buy from the dealer. I havent looked into it yet myself though

you'll need a aux input converter found here
the ones for '03 accords are about 100 bucks

i installed the dension ipod kit into my 2005 Accord. It took about 30-45 minutes and was simple and straight forward. Everything is plug n' play. I ordered it from dension directly as i didn't want the dock as i keep the ipod in the center console.

It integrates head unit and steering wheel controls for your ipod

Do you have the XM radio option? If you do the Dension Ice won't work for you. I would suggest getting the OEM Ipod connector for like $150.

just adding this to my subscription list in case I buy an 03 Accord EX. It seems that just making the factory unit capable of an iPod, plus amp will be very expensive (before buying the actual amps and speakers)
