Dash Dimmer Relay?
I'm in the midst of an LED conversion on all my dash gauges, climate control etc., and I ran into a bit of a problem.
I have a 2001 Accord EX V6 with the Auto Climate Control stuff.
One of LED legs shorted to the other and all my dash lights went out. Originally, I thought it would be a fuse, but I went through all 3 fuse boxes and tested each fuse and they were fine. After looking further into it.. here is my situation.
I turn on the car, and the backlight for the odometer LCD and the climate control LCD come on. When I turn my lights on, they go out and the entire dash is not lit.
Is there a relay somewhere that should be turning on the dash lights and dimming the LCD backlights -- or any clue as to what is going on? Hahaha
