I somehow reset my stereo. On the display, "COd" is written. I don't have my code. The dealer never gave me one because I bought the car used. They want to charge me $50 to pull out my stereo, look at the VIN, and call Honda for the code to get the stereo working again. Does anyone have a master code? Or if I call honda, will they give my the code?

i think all stealerships are different...sometimes one will just give it to you for free if you go in and tell them what happened.

some will try and charge you that 50 dollars....so good luck and godspeed

 

you can pull the radio out yourself... you need to do this to get the serial number and reference number from the radio. The dealer needs these numbers to get your security code.
