My wife needs the height adjustment, anyone had experience with installation of power seat in a 2006 Accord?

 

are you going from a completely non power seat to a powered seat? I'm not sure how the 06's are. (manual, 4 way powered, 6 way powered)

If you're going from nothing to something, you're going to need quite a bit of relays and this might also include SRS system modification.

 

Its power forwards and back, and change the angle of the back but does not raise and lower the seat bottom, like the drivers does.

 

i dont think you can add the up/down movement from a drivers seat... you'll have to modify the base and controls from the drivers seat to fit the passenger's seat and not disable the side airbag.... which may involve making custom mounts/wiring.

 

If the controls are solely on the chair, you might be able to mount a driver's side chair to the passenger side.

1. you'll have to adjust the chair rail
2. the side airbag will be on the wrong side
3. the controls will be on the wrong side

I'm guessing you could take the entire lower portion of the driver's side chair and mate it with the passenger's side back support to retain the SRS. Then you'd have to switch the chair control's side ... but then the controls would be reversed.
