Default Switching Ignition Cylinder

hey wats up i have a 91 accord dx and i wanna change the ignition cylinder cuz i lost my key, i bought a new one but idk how to take the old one out, plz give me details on how to cuz i really need this done.

could have just ordered a new key cut from the vin # or the code on the door or trunk lock cylinder if you must replace the ignition lock assembly you have to take off the breakaway screws with a punch or drill them out

??? about ordering a new key or replaceing the lock assembly? if you pull the colum cover off you will see 2 bolts with no head you drill them out and install the new one and tighten the 8mm bolt until the head breaks off .

if you pull the black colum cover and look behind the turn siginal switch the 2 round things holding the bracket with no heads on it . if you have a brend new complete lock assemble you will see the heads on it still.

okay . but im only switchin where u put in the key , not the whole assembly

well you cannot release the lock cylinder part without a key, unless the lock will go to the acc #1 position the pin won't popin to allow removal.
