haha yeah i just had this problem two days ago in my 90 lx
first look for a little "nipple" type thing off of the slave cylinder right next to the radiator. then get a jar half full of dot 3 brake fluid. take a hose and hook it to the "nipple" and put the other end in the jar. open up the vavle by taking a wrench and turing it about 1/4 - 1/2 of a full turn. then pump your clutch untill you feel it is stiff again and there are no bubbles. repeat if necessary. once done close the "nipple" valve and put the dust cover back on

ok...i found the slave cylinder...loosened it, and then pumped by clutch pedal which instantly dropped to the floor...now it has no pressure and just sits all the way pushed in...WHAT DO I DO?

I'm planning on doing this to...
As I've never done one of these before, is the "bleeder" valve easily located by a red tip, when under the vehicle? And I guess that's a 1/4 to 1/2 turn clockwise to open up the valve.

Also, sounds like when attaching the hose to the valve, you have to make sure the hose is connected to a bottle that has 1 - 2" of brake fluid in already before pumping the clutch (must be an air pressure/bubble thing).

clutch/brake bleeding is much easier with 2 people... fill your resivoir... pump the clutch pedal and then hold it down... have the other person open the bleed valve and close it again, then let off the pedal... keep repeating this a few times to get all the air out of the system. Make sure the resivoir stays full also.

Is the clutch slave cylinder/ bleeder valve easy to identify from under the vehicle?? I was advised to look for the red tip nose end of the bleeder valve closer to the passenger side from underneath...

you pump the pedal with the valve closed, then hold the pedal down... with the pedal down open the valve for a second and close it... then release the pedal... do not lift the pedal when the valve is opened.
